About Me
I have been working in the SA Education sector for 15 years, as an educational support person. During this time, I have privately tutored approximately 15-20 children. Some of these students have been short term, to help reinforce areas for improvement, in both literacy and numeracy. Other students have been long term, to ensure their successful transition to their next year level.
My focus and strengths are Reception - Year 9 literacy and numeracy,
I am a strong believer and advocate for children's mental health and wellbeing, which reflects in the relationships I have with both students and care givers.
I believe that building trust with students is the cornerstone to setting them up for success and increasing their confidence. I take pride in creating lesson plans that are customised to each student. This ensures a fun and safe learning environment with successful outcomes.
Being a mother myself, I am up to date and very aware of the challenges students may face, both personally and in a school setting.
My holistic and down to earth approach is well recognised by the families I work with and is reflected in the testimonials on this site.

In my own home
For people within the Eastern suburbs of Adelaide, I provide a learning space that is relaxed and encouraging.
Test Preparation
Is there a specific test coming up that your child is stressing about? I can work with the student over a few sessions, to focus on a specific area and provide them with more confidence to ensure they're test ready. I can work with both the teacher and student if required.
Online Tutoring
I provide this service for students aged 12 to 14 years, that are invested in their learning. A lesson plan will be created and emailed prior to the session. All that is required of you is to have it printed out and be set up in a quiet area.
